Doggy Date Night

February 1, 2023

Our canine companions are amazingly loyal. There’s a special day coming up that’s a great way to celebrate your furry buddy’s love and devotion. February 3rd is Doggy Date Night! Fido is definitely onboard with this idea. After all, he really wants nothing more than to spend time with you … preferably while being pampered with toys, treats, and belly rubs. A local Virginia Beach, VA vet offers some cute ways to get that tail wagging below.

It’s probably safe to say that Fido wouldn’t put being bathed on his list of perfect date night options, but nevertheless, he’ll both look and feel better after a bath … or at least a good brushing. Don’t forget the pawdicure!

Our canine friends are very enthusiastic about food. Fido will definitely enjoy a special treat! Dogs can have most types of meat, fish, or chicken, as long as the skin, bones, and fat are removed. If you want to go all-out, stop by a pet café and get your pooch a gourmet treat.

Did you know that many pups actually like learning new things? Teaching your furry pal a cute new trick is a fun way to spend time with him. If Fido knows basic commands, such as Sit, Stay, and Come, show him a fun trick. Roll Over will always be cute!

Fido is always adorable, but he’s extra charming when he’s spotted a new plaything. Stop by a pet store and let him pick something out!

Coffee dates have become a staple of the dating world. Fido may quite like hanging out in a pet-friendly coffee shop. Or, take him to Starbucks and get him a puppuccino.

It’s always great coming home to those adorable doggy happy dances and joyous tail wags. Relaxing with a good movie is a great way to unwind after a long day and spend time with your faithful pet. Pick something that features a cute pup. You can’t go wrong with Lady And The Tramp!

Adventure Dates

Many of our canine pals absolutely love going to new places with their humans. Bring Fido to a park, trail, or beach, and let him explore. This is also a great chance to get some cute pics of your pet!
