Meet Our Team!
Megan Rockwell - I began working at Barker Animal Hospital as a vet assistant in December of 2015, just before our grand opening. Over time, I became receptionist and as of October 2017, office manager. I grew up in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach and graduated from Old Dominion University in May of 2015 with a bachelors in biology. I have a 5 year old miniature schnauzer named Scooter, who you may have seen featured in some of our ads! I love the summertime and enjoy any outdoor activity that involves the beach. I've always had a passion for working with animals and enjoy every day that I get to help care for your furry family members.
